Hosted by Senator Barack Obama, this special production explores the stories of five famous African Americans and the ways in which their lives and work impacted our world today. Individuals profiled include Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, vocalist Marian Anderson, athlete Jesse Owens, and the first African-American woman to serve in the United States congress Shirley Chisholm. Using interviews, location footage and archive material we will bring these stories to life as they celebrate the invaluable accomplishments of five people who helped shape our country.
